The second Landscape & Light  will be held from the 22nd to the 27th January 2018 with a PV on Saturday the 27th January from 6 until 8 p.m. Artists who work with landscape and light are currently being invited to join the project.

The first Landscape & Light occurred in 2016 and was an the outcome of an idea to give emerging artists from the Fine Art course at University Campus Suffolk (UCS) the opportunity to make work, predominantly video, in response to the landscape and buildings around Letheringham Lodge in Suffolk.

This unique medieval hunting lodge, home to Pauline and Matthew Bickerton, provided an incredible reference point and genesis for new site-specific works made during the short space of this five-day residency.

We were lucky to have the artist Lol Sargent support and develop technical aspects of the experience. The residency provided the opportunity for students to work alongside more established artists and to gain a valuable insight into making and presenting work within a limited period.
